Description
Aluminum checkered plate is aluminium tread plate with a raised anti-slip pattern, combining slip resistance with light weight and corrosion resistance — ideal for flooring, steps, ramps, vehicle beds, boat decks and trailer floors where a rustproof, lightweight non-slip surface is wanted. It gives the grip of checkered plate without the weight or corrosion of steel, which is why it is favoured in transport and marine work.
Aluminium checkered plate is supplied in a range of thicknesses and standard sheet sizes, and is often cut to size for a specific floor or platform. Thickness is chosen for the load underfoot. See the specifications below for available thicknesses and sizes.
